“I believe that yoga can be a wonderful way to care for ourselves, undo imbalances, and reduce stress and weaknesses brought on by our everyday lives,” says Jen. “Everyone can benefit from the practice of mindful focus, strengthening and balancing to help restore their body and mind.”
Jen has received her 200 hour yoga teacher training, and also has a 100 hour specialized Warriors training from YogaFit – a certification in trauma sensitive yoga. She is also certified through Samson Elite for Preventative Measures and Intro to Technique in personal training.
In 2015, Jen added massage therapy to her skills set as part of her desire to help people heal and rejuvenate. She graduated from the Northern Virginia Community College’s massage therapy certification program enabling her to empower people to move their bodies into better function and pain-free living. She educates her clients to be more mindful about their movement, exercise and posture throughout the day.
